What’s in the Book Bundle?

Each Book Bundle includes six brand-new books, carefully handpicked by our team based on your favourite books and reading tastes.

After checkout, you’ll complete a short questionnaire telling us about the kinds of books you love. Our book-loving team will then select six titles we think you’ll genuinely enjoy.

Every bundle is personalised, meaning no two bundles are exactly the same.

What books will I receive?

Every Book Bundle is completely personalised.

After checkout, you’ll complete a short questionnaire telling us about your favourite books, authors, and genres. You’re also welcome to include a link to your Goodreads profile or other reading apps, which helps us see what you’ve already read.

Our team will then carefully select six books we think you’ll genuinely love, while making sure you don’t receive any duplicates.

Because every reader is different, no two bundles are exactly the same - each one is thoughtfully curated just for you.

Deliveries

All Book Bundles include free UK delivery.

Once you’ve completed the questionnaire, our team will begin selecting your books and preparing your bundle for dispatch. Most orders are shipped within 2–4 working days.

You’ll receive a dispatch confirmation email once your bundle is on its way.

Buying this as a gift?

No problem at all! Simply purchase the bundle and enter either your address or the recipient’s address at checkout.

Once your order is placed, there are two easy ways to personalise the bundle:

1. Complete the questionnaire yourself

Fill out our personalisation questionnaire with what you know about the recipient’s reading tastes, and we’ll choose books based on the information you provide.

2. Send the questionnaire to the recipient

You can also forward the questionnaire to the recipient so they can complete it themselves. Just make sure they include the order number when filling it out so we can match their responses to the correct order.

Either way, we’ll use the answers to carefully select books we think they’ll love.

Duplicates and Replacements

Because every Book Bundle is personalised, we work hard to make sure the books we choose are a great match for you.If you happen to receive a book you’ve already read, or a title that really missed the mark, just let us know and we’ll happily arrange a free replacement.

Your reading experience matters to us, and we want every book in your bundle to be one you’re excited to discover.

Finally, a dark romance subscription box!

The books I received in my romantasy/dark romance were great. They were a lovely selection and ones I was looking forward to reading. I also ordered a dark romance blind date with a book. They packaged all three books together, so I’m not sure which one was the blind date book but all three were great. I will definitely be ordering again.

It’s a shame they don’t include any extras (book marks, biscuits, special editions etc) but it was one of the only dark romance UK subscriptions I could find.

What is the Book Box?

The Book Box is a book subscription box that puts the books first! We don't jam pack your box with wasteful nicknacks, instead we spend the time and effort finding the right book for you.

After you make a purchase we ask a couple of questions about your reading preferences (this only takes five minutes) and then we handle the rest from there!

Each book subscription box is filled with handpicked books specifically ordered for every customer.

TLDR: We find books you will love, and send them to your door!

What if I have already read the book(s)?

This is a fair question, and one expected to be asked. Don't worry, we have thought about this!

Firstly to avoid filling your book subscription box with books you've already read, we will look at your Goodreads (or other reading app) and cross reference our picks with this!

If you don't have a reading app, you can send us a picture of your bookshelf and we can use that instead.

In the unlikely event that we do send you a book you have already read, don't worry! Free returns are available!

How do you find the right books?

This one is simple, we just ask a couple of questions about your reading preferences - which help us to get to know a bit more about the books you love!

After checkout, please make sure to complete our questionnaire (click this link) so we can find the perfect book for you!

How much is shipping?

If you are based in the UK,shipping is completely freeon all of our Book Subscription Boxes, and one off orders!

Do you ship abroad?

Unfortunately we do not yet deliver outside of the UK. However... we are working on it, so please keep your eyes peeled!

When will my Book Box arrive?

Our Book Boxes are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days of placing an order.
Subscription boxes are delivered within 7 days of your first order, with subsequent boxes arriving 2-3 days after your subscription renewal each month!

Orders are fulfilled using Evri standard delivery, 1-2 working days after being dispatched.

If you have not received your order within 10 business days, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will look into it for you.

Do you offer refunds?

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at support@thebookboxes.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Why not start with a genre and go from there. You can always update your preferences throughout your subscription. But sometimes a genre can be a great place to start!
