Our Blind-date with a book box contains:
- Brand new books
- Books rated over 3.5 stars on Goodreads
- Bestsellers or books that should be bestsellers!
- Not bargain basement or books left on the shelf!
- We only send standalone books, or books that are the first in a series.

All orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days of an order being placed.
Order are then fulfilled using Evri standard delivery with a wait of 1-4 days.

What is the Book Box?
The Book Box is a book subscription box that puts the books first! We don't jam pack your box with wasteful nicknacks, instead we spend the time and effort finding the right book for you.
TLDR: We find books you will love, and send them to your door!
How much is shipping?
If you are based in the UK shipping is £2.50 for our blind dates with a book.
Do you ship abroad?
Unfortunately we do not yet deliver outside of the UK. However... we are working on it, so please keep your eyes peeled!
When will my Book Box arrive?
Our Book Boxes are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days of placing an order.
Subscription boxes are delivered within 7 days of your first order, with subsequent boxes arriving 2-3 days after your subscription renewal each month!
Orders are fulfilled using Evri standard delivery, 1-2 working days after being dispatched.
If you have not received your order within 10 business days, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will look into it for you.
Do you offer refunds?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at support@thebookboxes.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
