Can't Decide on Just One Genre?
Love more than one of genre? Our Build Your Own Book Subscription is perfect for readers who don’t want to be limited to a single genre. Simply choose two genres you enjoy, and we’ll carefully select two brand new books just for you - combining the best of both worlds in one personalised box.
What is the Book Box?
The Book Box is a book subscription box that puts the books first! We don't jam pack your box with wasteful nicknacks, instead we spend the time and effort finding the right book for you.
After you make a purchase we ask a couple of questions about your reading preferences (this only takes five minutes) and then we handle the rest from there!
Each book subscription box is filled with handpicked books specifically ordered for every customer.
TLDR: We find books you will love, and send them to your door!
What if I have already read the book(s)?
This is a fair question, and one expected to be asked. Don't worry, we have thought about this!
Firstly to avoid filling your book subscription box with books you've already read, we will look at your Goodreads (or other reading app) and cross reference our picks with this!
If you don't have a reading app, you can send us a picture of your bookshelf and we can use that instead.
In the unlikely event that we do send you a book you have already read, don't worry! Free returns are available!
How do you find the right books?
This one is simple, we just ask a couple of questions about your reading preferences - which help us to get to know a bit more about the books you love!

How much is shipping?
If you are based in the UK,shipping is completely freeon all of our Book Subscription Boxes, and one off orders!
Do you ship abroad?
Unfortunately we do not yet deliver outside of the UK. However... we are working on it, so please keep your eyes peeled!
When will my Book Box arrive?
Our Book Boxes are usually dispatched within 1-2 working days of placing an order.
Subscription boxes are delivered within 7 days of your first order, with subsequent boxes arriving 2-3 days after your subscription renewal each month!
Orders are fulfilled using Evri standard delivery, 1-2 working days after being dispatched.
If you have not received your order within 10 business days, please do not hesitate to get in touch and we will look into it for you.
Do you offer refunds?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at support@thebookboxes.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
